13 Afghan army members were killed in Kunduz
After Taliban fighters attacked security check posts in Imam Sahib District of Kunduz 13 security members were killed and 17 other got injured. A security source who was speaking in condition of anonymity told Pasbanan media group that as a result of Taliban attack on Joy begum village, 3 security check posts of Afghan forces were seized by Taliban. Meanwhile, Safiullah Mahzon Security head of Kunduz has confirmed casualties and fall down of security check posts in hand of Taliban, he has also told media that currently, they are observing the form of this attack.
Mr. Mahzon also told PMG: Taliban also witnessed heavy casualties in this attack. But Zabiullah Mujahid Taliban spokesman has stated in a newsletter that in last night attacks of Taliban in Kunduz, they have captured one base and 7 security check posts. He has also claimed that during this operation at least 19 Afghan security members were killed and 13 others got injured. According to Mujahid in this attack, 3 Talib fighters got injured.
