Farah governor: terrorists do not have the power to confront military, and they have failed
The governor of Farah says terrorists have never been able to stand up with Afghan military, and they have always failed in battlefields. Abdul Basir Salangi, newly appointed governor of Farah, today visited security checkpoints along Farah and Farahrud (517) highway. The Independent Directorate of local governance Newsletter adds: purpose of the visit was to obtain information about operations launched in the areas of Balabolok.
The newsletter adds that after Mr. Salangi met with security officials, he has ordered them to crack down on terrorists and take special measures to do so. Abdul Basir Salangi also said, that the Taliban had already extended their attacks on Farah district’s high district.
