A senior member of ISIK in Nangarhar killed
Local officials in Nangarhar province have announced the arrest of a person responsible for ISIK suicide attacks and the killing of a judge named as a result of two separate operations by the National Security Forces in the province.
Ataullah Khogyani, the spokesman for the governor of Nangarhar, told the media today, Monday (October 19): “These two operations were carried out last night in the city of Jalalabad, the capital of Nangarhar province.”
Mr. Khogiani adds: “Mohammad Nabi” known as “Ayoubi” is responsible for ISIL’s suicide attacks.
Mr. Khogiani also added: Amin, a non-institutional judge of the ISIL group known as Mu’awiyah, was killed in a clash with national security forces.
It is said that some weapons and ammunition also fell into the hands of these forces during the operation of the National Security Special Forces.
Meanwhile, Nangarhar province in eastern Afghanistan is the largest center of the ISIS terrorist group in the country, and other terrorist groups, including the Taliban, have a large presence there. However, as a result of security forces operations over the past few years, ISIL activity in the east of the country has declined; But it is not completely gone.
