Reopening of the border gate of Spin Boldak and Chaman

The border gate between Spin Boldak and Chaman districts reopened after a few hours and closed again.

“Yesterday, he announced the opening of the Spin Boldak and Chaman gates, but

Zakaullah Darni, an official in Chaman, told the media that the border gate was around one o’clock,” Ahmad Behir Ahmadi, spokesman for the Kandahar

governor, told the media this Wednesday morning. “5 pm is closed for an indefinite period.”

Mr. Durrani added that Afghan and Pakistani officials would meet to discuss the issue, but did not specify a date.

The border gate has been blocked for six months since the outbreak of the

coronavirus, but local officials say it has occasionally reopened for a limited number of hours.
