The Ministry of Interior has issued a statement saying that the owners of such vehicles must register their vehicles within the same ninety days and get a security document to drive. Driving such vehicles without documents is a violation of security and will face legal action.

The ministry also said those motorcycle importers are required to obtain traffic documents (license plate number and travel license) before being removed from customs, otherwise, they are not allowed to leave.

The Ministry of Interior says that motorcycles are not allowed to travel without legal documents and are confiscated.

Dawlat-e-shahi district of Laghman occupied by Taliban

Local officials in Laghman province say Taliban fighters have taken control of Dawlat-e-shahi district last night.

Golzar Sangarwal, a member of the Laghman Provincial Council, confirmed the news to the media that the district had fallen to the Taliban on Wednesday night.

Mr. Sangarwal added that no casualties were reported to the security forces and that they had retreated.

The provincial council member stated that fighting is currently taking place in the Alishang district.

So far, security sources have not told the media about this.

Meanwhile, the Taliban have also reported the fall of the district. Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said all security forces had fled the center, command, and security checkpoints and that Dolat Shah district had fallen to the group.

Laghman province is adjacent to Kabul and has been witnessing Taliban movements for some time.
