37 Taliban killed in Paktika Province


Afghanistan security forces launched a joint operation in Paktika that killed 37 Taliban insurgents and wounded 6, said Ministry of interior affairs in a statement.

Operation launched in (Yousof khil) district of Paktika. Ministry of interior also added that in this operation (Sadat, military commander of taliban, Omar, District Governor of the Taliban and Motasim, another taliban commander killed.)

The operation left a large number of Taliban bodies on the ground. The Interior Ministry says a large amount of Taliban ammunition has also been seized by the country’s security forces.

Twenty Taliban militants were killed and wounded in another operation by security forces in the Khoshmand district of the province yesterday evening
