A family in Faryab planned to sell their two-month-old child

The family in Faryab has been trying to sell their two-month-old child for poor financial reasons, which fortunately prevented them from doing so.

The Faryab Provincial Command Press Office wrote in a newsletter that Seyed Rahmatullah, a resident of Balcharagh district, who came to Maimana a week ago for treatment of his wife, had been planning to sell the child for two months. It was called Sabrias.

But the Faryab police, which the Gendarmerie and Human Rights Forces of Faryab Provincial Police in coordination with the women’s office for women in the province, prevented the sale of the child.
