Afghanistan beat Ireland and won the series of T20

Afghanistan claimed an unassailable 2-0 lead over Ireland with a 21-run victory in the second match of their T20I series in India on Sunday.

Asghar Afghan (49) and Rahmanullah Gurbaz (35) helped Afghanistan post 184-4 in 20 overs.

In reply, Ireland made 163-6, with their captain Andy Balbirnie scoring 46 before being dismissed by Rashid Khan.

Harry Tector (37) was the next major run-scorer for Ireland. He was dismissed by Mujeeb Ur Rahman who totally picked up three wickets. Mujeeb was declared man of the match.

Afghanistan will look to complete a whitewash at Greater Noida on Tuesday.
