After India witnessed the third wave of the coronavirus outbreak, reports from Indian media indicate that the number of coronavirus-positive cases in this country has now increased to 20 million.

According to statistics provided by India’s healthcare institutions, the country has seen a significant increase in the number of coronavirus cases in the most recent case, with 357,000 new cases registered in the past 24 hours. Health experts say the third wave of coronavirus in India is out of control, and it is so horrible.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health of India published a newsletter today (May 4) stating that in the last 24 hours, at least 357 thousand new cases have been registered in the country, and most of those affected by this virus are elders.

The number of people infected with the coronavirus in the country is said to have almost doubled in the last three months, and the number of deaths has reached more than 220,000. Meanwhile, the Indian Ministry of Health has announced that they plan to extend the corona vaccination process to all Indian states in the next two months to control the disease.

However, several Indian media outlets report that problems in health centers and hospitals in terms of bed, medicine and oxygen shortages have not yet been fully addressed and that hospital staff in India are still struggling with many challenges.

The third outbreak of the deadly coronavirus in India is spreading faster than in any other country globally, and a large number of countries around the world have stopped all flights to India. US officials have said they will also announce flight restrictions to India next week in the latest case.
