Sergei Lavrov: we are worried about ISIS presence in Afghanistan but US and NATO forces denies it
Pasbanan – Kabul:
Foreign minister of Russia told reporters in a news conference: we are concerned about ISIS presence in Afghanistan but Washington and NATO deny activities of this group in country. Sergei Lavrov says: “Unfortunately we are worried of ISIS fighter’s presence in Afghanistan but US military and NATO are silence and they are hiding reality of this group in the country.”
Mr. Lavrov also added: “we are concerned on behalf of NATO fight against terrorist groups. According to our information thousands of ISIS fighters have presence in North and South of the country which is a big threat to us. Our main concern is that activates of this group will give a chance to influence in Central Asian countries. ”
Before this call, Zamir Kablov, special representative of Russian president for Afghanistan said: according to information’s they have some suspected helicopters are carrying terrorists to ISIS control areas.
