10 armed insurgents killed in Faryab province

Security officials in the north of the country report the killing of 10 armed Taliban, including a key commander in Faryab province.
Mohammad Hanif Rezai, spokesman for the 209th Corps, said: As a result of the operation of the army at the Taliban’s headquarters in Gorzivan district of Faryab province, one of the key Taliban commanders named Mullah Najib, known as Ghazanfar, along with nine of his people, was wounded and four others were wounded.
Mr. Razai added that as a result of these operations, three stations, some ammunition and ten motorcycle vehicles have been destroyed.
The Taliban have not yet said anything about it.
