As Afghanistan prepares for the presidential election in less than two months, officials from the Independent Election Commission of Afghanistan have recently announced that they have already issued 11 million ballot papers. But voter registration statistics show that at least 9 million Afghans are ready to vote in the upcoming presidential process.
The release of two million extra ballots by the Independence Elections Commission appears to have raised doubts about the engineering of the forthcoming election. Hearing of this, some Kabul citizens say that 2 million extra ballots may have been printed for widespread fraud.
