Local authorities in Laghman province say three civilians were killed as a result of a landmine at a funeral service in the provincial government of Shah Shah.

Laghman governor spokesman Asadullah Dowlatzai told the media that the incident happened at around 9:00 am today (Monday, June 6) at a funeral procession in the village of Dasht-e Shah special in the district.

The blast was caused by a Taliban-loaded landmine, which left two people dead and four others wounded.

The Taliban have not yet told the media about this.
