20 Talib insurgents including Four Red company fighters were killed in Baghlan
At least 20 Taliban insurgents were sent to death in the central Baghlan district.
Ekram-u-din Saray, Baghlan Police Chief, said that the Taliban insurgents launched last night’s group attacks in the Pol-e-Bashir area of central Baghlan and aimed to seize a number of military checkpoints in the country. Mr. Saray said: four Taliban Red company fighters were also killed in the incident, with their key commanders.
Baghlan Police Headquarters newsletter also said that during a security operation in Baghlan, a laser gun was also obtained. In the past two weeks, at least 60 Taliban fighters are said to have been killed and wounded in Baghlan.
