23 insurgents were killed during an operation of Afghan forces in northeastern provinces

Several villages were cleared from the presence of Taliban insurgent’s dissidents in the areas of Kunduz districts. At least 6 Taliban members were killed and 3 others were wounded during the operation, in addition to which the National Army was able to arrest 14 other insurgents, the Ministry of Defense said.
Meanwhile, the amount of ammunition and weapons has been handed over to the security forces by the Special Operations Command forces in Baghlan. National Army forces continue to emphasize that they will take new measures to secure the north-east of Afghanistan.
