24 local police and public uprising forces were killed in Kunduz
Kunduz police officials have announced that during clashes between Taliban with local police and Public uprising forces in Volokh Tepa village of Qala-e-Zal district 24 members of these forces were killed. According to police, the fight between Taliban and the local forces began on 1 Am and it was carried out to until 4 Am.
It is also said that among victims of this incident Nabi Gaichi a key commander of Public uprising forces were also killed. But Taliban have claimed that they have killed several forces backing the government in Qala-e-Zal district. This incident happened in a time that Afghan government has announced 8 days’ cease-fire with the insurgent group.
