26 insurgents were killed in several parts of Afghanistan

The security forces launched six joint offensive and clean-up joint operations, as a result of these operations at least 26 insurgents were killed and 21 others were wounded, the Defense Ministry said in a newsletter. According to the newsletter, the operations were launched in Khost, Logar, Paktika, Uruzgan, Badghis, Balkh, Kunduz and Helmand provinces, which resulted in the destruction of the group’s the ammunition and weapons, along with casualties occurred to the Taliban insurgents.
Meanwhile, Afghan security and defense forces have announced several air strikes on terrorist safe heavens, which resulted in the destruction of several hideouts of armed opposition.
