Local officials in Herat province say that three people were killed 3 and 24 others were wounded by a mine explosion in the district of Oba, Herat province.

Herat governor spokesman Jilani Farhad told media that two civilians were injured in the incident, including one child and an old man, and wounding 14 others. Reports suggest that Oba district was also wounded in the bombing.

Mr. Farhad also added: “When Rahimeddin Serveshi, Uba district governor of Herat province was going to his office, a vehicle of explosives was erected alongside Mr. Sergei’s car.”

Meanwhile, some doctors in the hospital in the district of Obey in Herat say that three corpses have been transferred to the hospital in the hands of two children and one man.
