The Anti-Narcotics Justice Center has written in a newsletter that during the past week, drug-related forces have been able to arrest 31 people in connection with drug trafficking, the report added that after arrest of these detainees they were sentenced to 5 to 21 years and 9 months during their hearings in court of Afghanistan.

It is said that at least 13 kilograms morphine, 20 kilograms of opium, 57 kilograms of heroic drugs and 12689 kilograms of Hashes have been seized as the efforts of counter-narcotics forces. This is despite the fact that last week, 27 people were sentenced to long term jail in connection with drug trafficking cases.
