The Afghan Presidential Palace has announced that, after a big delay in announcing the final results of Kabul parliamentary elections, today, President Ghani is scheduled to host 33 Kabul delegates for the House of Representatives. Mohammad Haroon Chakhansuri, the spokesman for the presidential palace, wrote on his Facebook page: “The new representatives of Kabul and Paktia provinces will hold their inauguration in Wolesi Jirga on Monday afternoon at the reception of Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, the president of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.”
Last night, the Afghan National Television issued the final list of Kabul winning Members of Parliament, based on this list, Ajmal Rahmani, with the most votes and Rubin Jalali, with the least votes as the representatives of Kabul province who had won in the final list, but media officials of the elections Independent Commission denied publication of this list.
