The Ministry of Defense reports that 35 Taliban were killed and seven other Taliban wounded in Ghor province.

According to the news release, special security forces have inflicted heavy casualties on the Taliban by launching large-scale operations in Dulatyar district of Ghor province.

Ghor Governor spokesman Abdul Hai Khatibi says the village has been cleared of Taliban militants in a clearing operation under the name of Aqab three days ago.

According to him, eight Taliban sites were also destroyed in the operation, which was supported by the air force.

A spokesman for the Ghor governor added that one key man was also captured by security forces in the operation.

Meanwhile, security operations in the country have increased in winter against the Taliban.
