4 police members were arrested on charges of illegal extortion in Kabul

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has published a newsletter that police have been able to arrest nine people including four police officers for illegal extortion. According to the newsletter, these police officers were arrested from the second, first and fifth districts of police, while they were able to collect at least 48540 Afghani money form the sales in the above-mentioned districts.
The Interior Ministry adds in the newsletter: after the arrest of these involved persons including 4 police members their files, were sent to military prosecutor’s office for further investigation and procedures, and the ministry is determined to eradicate corruption and illegal activities.
