According to Indian media, at least 49 people have died from the effects of extreme heat in some parts of India.

“In some Indian states, more than 49 people have died due to extreme heat and they have been affected by the high level of heat during the last 24 hours,” according to Pasbanan News Agency Report quoting Dawn News. There are also reports that the heat wave in the country’s “Behar” state is more than the rest of the country, and due to the drought caused by the shortage of rain, casualties in the province are increasing.

At present, the temperature is reported to be around 50 degrees Celsius, and the onset of this heat wave has led to the transfer of large numbers of citizens to local hospitals.
