Counter Narcotics Police of Interior Ministry (MOI) announced that they were able arrest six individuals linked to drug trafficking and arms trafficking in Kabul and Khost. The Anti-Narcotics Police wrote in a newsletter: “Three drug dealers were arrested on charges of selling 14 grams of heroin, 5 grams of glass, and 5 tablets of incestuous tablets in the PD six and Paghman district of Kabul”.

The Counter Narcotics Police have also claimed that they were able to arrest another suspect in connection with smuggling of a pistol with 252 bullets in Pul-e-Charkhi Gate of Kabul. Meanwhile, the Police department of Khost claims that the have arrested two people in connection with the sale of narcotics along with 39 packs of drug related crimes.
