The Taliban commander, along with six others, was killed in a clash between the Taliban and the security forces in the districts of Chahar Balk, Chamtal and Balkh districts. Mohammad Hanif Rezai, the spokesman for the 209th Shahin corps, says that four Taliban insurgents were killed and three others were sacked by the clashes between the security forces and the Taliban in Chamtal districts.

Mr. Rezaie continues to add that one soldier of the security forces have been injured in the clashes. Meanwhile, a Taliban militant commander, Mutawakkil, was killed by security forces in a separate clash between the security forces and the Taliban in the district’s four-bulk district.
