Abdullah: efforts are being made for unifying the peace efforts in the country

Abdullah Abdullah, the National Unity Government, Chief Executive has said at the commemoration world day of fight against Tubercles today said: “The continuation of fighting in the country has led the government and the people to fail in achieving some development goals, including reduction and fight against diseases.”
Mr Abdullah called for the creation of a single reference point for peace talks as a better example of peace. “Every peace deal is good, but if these efforts are focused and by unifying to take the same path, at that time, the peace talks will be better represented than the people of Afghanistan.”
Abdullah also said that the majority of Afghans want to establish peace in the country. Because people do not want to go back to the past and their rights should be violated again. The chief executive added that the people want to determine their fate through the elections, and the achievements and rights of the people should not be ignored during the peace talks.
