The Afghan Meteorological Agency has warned in a newsletter that Afghanistan will face the most severe snow and rain falling in the 20 and 21 of February. According to the newsletter of metrology Herat, Kandahar, Zabul, Paktika, Khost, Paktia, Baghlan, Logar, Orozgan, Kunar, Laghman, Kapisa, Kabul, Maidan Wardak, Bamyan, Panjshir, Ghazni, Parwan, Nangarhar and some parts of Daikondi, Samangan, Kunduz, Takhar, Badakhshan, and Farah provinces will see heavy snow and rain..

The agency’s newsletter also states that rainfall will be between 15-30 nm and snow in the central regions would be at least 20 to 30 cm.
