Afghan MP’s denied Meer Rahman Rahmani to become the legitimate Speaker of parliament

Although one day ago, Mir Rahman Rahmani was appointed as the Speaker of the parliament by obtaining 123 votes from the members of House of Representatives and 53 rejected votes, but with the technical assistance of the interim parliamentary delegation, Most of the members of this institution, especially women, prevented the reception of this seat by Mr. Rahmani. Members of the House of Representatives have said that Mr. Rahmani could not win the majority of votes (50+1) in yesterday’s elections so he cannot be appointed as the Speaker of the Afghan parliament.
Meanwhile, Kamal Nasir Osole, the main rival of Mr. Rahmani, who won 55 votes in yesterday’s election, claims that spread fraud has been seen in yesterday election and that huge money has been distributed to newly appointed members of the seventeenth legislature parliament of the country.
