Afghan National Security Council appreciates extending of German military mission in Afghanistan

The National Security Council has released a newsletter that the extension of the German military mission in Afghanistan is an effective and significant step to support the Afghan security forces. According to the National Security Council’s Newsletter: “Afghanistan welcomes the recent and strategic decision of Germany to renew their presence within the framework of Resolute Support Mission by the end of 2020”.
The National Security Council welcomed Germany’s efforts to extend its military mission in Afghanistan in time, which currently at least 1,200 German troops are present in Northern Afghanistan. Although these forces do not appear in battlefields, their main mission is to train, advice and Assist Afghan security forces.
