Afghan women: without their presence peace process is incomplete

A number of Afghan women at the Afghan Women’s Network Conference have announced the importance of their achievements over the past 19 years to a new round of peace talks. The Afghan Women’s Partnership Declaration states that peace requires a widespread participation of women, and Afghan women are demanding for a stable and justly peace.
Women in the country say that the main victims were the four decades of war, especially during the time of the wars and the time of the Taliban government, and their basic rights, such as education, health services and political, economic and social participation, they were deprived. Achievements are very important for women in the country since 2001, and they say: “Afghan women do not want to and do not allow victims of government and international community, political parties, and factions to oppose the …Women will not allow any group to undermine their achievements, participations and rights.
