Afghanistan will use electronic system of traffic

Soon Afghanistan will have electronic traffic system. According to the minister of communication and information technology after this drivers in Afghanistan would be able to have electronic driving permit and driving license. According to an agreement signed by Afghanistan interior and communication and information technology ministers this project would be implemented by Asan Khedmat department of Afghanistan ministry of communication information technology.
Shahzad Aryobi, minister of communication and information technology said: “this system would be implemented to provide a better traffic service, province efficient and fast service to satisfy consumers of Kabul Traffic Police and Kabul Traffic directorate, by launching this system drivers would be able to get their driving license and permit in electronic form and it would provide efficiency to this system.”
Meanwhile it’s worth to say that Afghanistan customs would be also connected to this traffic system for preventing traffic accidents in the cites of Afghanistan. Meanwhile, Afghan interior minister, Wais Ahmad Barmak has told media: “signing this agreement is a part of our four years plan and by using this technology we would be able to stop corruption and provide a better traffic system. I believe that this program will have a positive effect on traffic system in the country.”
This agreement is signed, while Afghanistan traffic system specifically Kabul traffic system has several challenges such us corruption and democracy. And with all efforts Afghanistan government were unable to prevent corruption in the country.
