Appointing of first woman ambassador of Saudi Arabia in USA

For the first time, Saudi Arabia has nominated a woman as US ambassador to the United States.
Saudi media reported yesterday (Saturday, February 23rd) that Rima Bant Bandar bin Sultan, the daughter of the Saudi ambassador to Washington, has been appointed as the new ambassador to the country.
The decision comes as Riyadh has been criticized for murdering Saudi journalist Jamal Khashakghi. Meanwhile Jamal Khoshoghchi disappeared in Istanbul last October last in saudi Arabia consul in turkey, and next his body was found in a well.
