The country’s security and defense forces have been able to arrest at least 9 armed robbers by launching various operations in the provinces of Farah, Herat, Takhar, and Helmand.

The Interior Ministry said in a newsletter: Farah provincial police commanders arrested three people in two operations involving armed robbery, in particular, “vehicle theft” from the district of the second district of Farah, along with two stolen motorcycle detainees. Three others were arrested in connection with armed robbery from the district of Rastaq district of Takhar province along with Kalashnikov’s two weapons.

It was also reported that Herat Police arrested 3 thieves with “49” heads of livestock from Korkh district in the province, and in Lashkargah, Helmand province, a stolen vehicle was handed over to the owner after the thief was arrested.
