Ghazni governor’s spokesman said in a telephone conversation with Pasbanan at least 51 terrorists have been killed during air and ground operations of the country’s Air forces and RS mission support over the past 24 hours to recapture Khwaja Omari district. Ghazni governor spokesman Aref Noori says: The air strike of the Resolute Support Mission and the country’s air forces at three locations in Ghazni and Maidan-Wardag Provinces has caused massive casualties to Taliban, he adds the attacks took place while Taliban fighters were collecting the bodies of their fighters, and during these strikes 51 Taliban members including 8 group commanders were killed.

Mr. Noori added that at least 21 people from security forces including Khwaja Omari district chief and Security head were killed during Taliban offensive attack. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense has published a newsletter according to that at least 59 Taliban fighters were killed and 46 others got injured during operations in Khwaja Omari, Dehyak, and Qarabagh districts of Ghazni.

The Taliban launched their aggressive attacks on Thursday night in Khwaja Omari district of Ghazni, during this operation at least 21 people including Shams Doost, Security in charge and also policemen’s of Khwaja Omari district were killed by Taliban. Meanwhile, after capturing district building Taliban burned all of the infrastructures. It is worth to say that this incident makes president Ghani so angry.
