Atta warned of an intense battle between Balkh and the presidential palace

After tensions rise between Ata Mohammad Noor and the newly appointed Balkh police commander who was appointed by the Ministry of Interior, now Ata Mohammad Noor, former governor of Balkh and chief executive of the Jamyat Islami, has warned all residents of the province not to leave their homes. According to the newsletter posted on Mr. Noor’s Facebook page, “Citizens of Mazar-e-Sharif are informed that tomorrow, please do not attend their duties, I will continue to ask property owners and shopkeepers to maintain their safety and protect citizens’ safety. Keep their markets and shops closed. The presidential palace has taken new plots to disturb the peace and security of the people.”
In this newsletter, Ata Mohammad Noor has also been written: “The Presidential palace violates the understanding that has been recently made between them and Balkh, and has a sinister agenda towards our people. Please stay in your homes until the problem is resolved. Meanwhile, all the Sheriffs of the passage, the head of the district, the merits of the heads of people and the various guilds are required to wait for our next message and take the necessary steps in the next steps. ”
This message comes as one day ago, Atta Mohammad Noor, at a private meeting with some of the elders of Balkh, said he is not willing to give any price to replace the commander of Balkh with the new commander instead of him.
