Bomb blast kills 18 in Quetta, Pakistan

Pakistani security officials say 18 people were killed and wounded as a result of a bomb blast in Quetta.
Quetta police commander Abdul Raziq Cheema said: “At three o’clock (7 January) a motorcycle bomb loaded with a car bomb exploded near the security forces’ vehicle in Quetta, Pakistan, killing 18 people and injuring one.”
“The bomb blast in Quetta, Pakistan, left two dead and 16 wounded, and two Pakistani soldiers were among the wounded,” Mr Chima added.
Al-Harar’s group claimed responsibility for the attack.
