Brother of General Abdul Raziq was appointed as shadow head of Kandahar Police
The interior ministry has announced that Tadin Khan, brother of General Abdul Raziq, the former Kandahar police chief, has been introduced as the shadow head of this institution. Interior Minister Deputy spokesman Nasratullah Rahimi said to the Pasbanan news agency that the decision was based on the proposal of Interior Ministry, and Mr. Tadin has been officially introduced to the post of Kandahar police by the first deputy of the ministry.
Meanwhile, Kandahar tribal elders have previously proposed to the country’s president to replace Abdul Raziq Achakzay brother instated of the Kandahar police commander. The assassination of General Abdul Raziq, commander of the Kandahar police, led to a week-long delay in the process of parliamentary elections in the province.
