Chief Executive Emphasis on expanding ties between Kabul-New Delhi

The country’s chief executive, Abdullah Abdullah, has recently called for expanding diplomatic ties between Kabul and New Delhi. Mr. Abdullah, the country’s chief executive, has praised India’s contributions and its constructive role in Afghanistan and called for continued ties between Kabul and New Delhi. The chief executive made the remarks last night (Thursday, August 16) at a ceremony marking the 70th anniversary of India’s independence at its embassy in Kabul.
He also congratulated the government and its people on the anniversary of India’s independence and added that India was a historic and strategic ally of Afghanistan. India is a strategic partner of Afghanistan, which has invested at least $ 3 billion in infrastructure in the country over the past 18 years.
