Following the publication of reports that eight police forces were killed in Nahr-e-Saraj district of Helmand, at least 8 policemen were killed and 15 others wounded in this incident, now the Chief Executive of the National Unity Government has called for a serious appeal to the case. According to internal media reports, Mr. Abdullah has urged Resolute Support Mission forces to address the incident seriously. According to Abdullah Abdullah: “The death of eight police forces in 601 Highway Company should be investigated as rigorously as possible, and the perpetrators of the incident should be brought to justice as soon as possible,” he said.

The incident took place in Helmand’s Nangarhar district two days ago when airstrikes received a decisive support mission to halt the Taliban’s movements, but because of the mistakes they received, the fighters instead of bombing Taliban positions, checkpoints Targeting the police, causing heavy casualties to these forces.
