The Chinese government announced the creation of a joint group in the Shanghai organization to solve the Afghan problem and strengthen stability in the country.
(Wang Yi) said during a meeting with his Kyrgyz counterpart that his country is working to establish a joint working group with the Organization of African Unity (ACP) in order to strengthen the Afghan peace process, and that the Chinese and Kyrgyzstan They talked about the Afghan peace process.
The purpose of the establishment of this joint group is to support and consolidate the efforts of the United States in the Afghan peace process, and seeks to help solve the internal problems of Afghanistan, although no further details have been given. But the Chinese Foreign Minister has emphasized that this working group will be set up from the member states of the Shanghai organization in the near future.
Meanwhile, Germany has already said that it will host a meeting between the Afghan government and the Taliban to strengthen the Afghan peace process.
