China’s optimism about unprecedented peace prospects in Afghanistan

According to China’s local media, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said in a meeting with Tajik President Imam Ali Rahman in Dushanbe: “After several years of war in Afghanistan, peace is now possible. If the neighbors of Afghanistan, China and Tajikistan have coordinated their position on the peace and reconstruction of the country. ”
Mr. Wang Yi also said that despite the ambiguity and distrust in this war-torn country, the people of Afghanistan have never been so close to peace.
