The clashes between a number of prisoners and Pul-e-Charkhi prison guards were said to have continued for several hours on Thursday, and protesters were fired. A number of political prisoners detained in Pul-e-Charkhi prison have been revolted and arrested by prison guards.

Some reports indicate that the clashes and protests in several blocks of the Pul-e-Charkhi prison began on Thursday morning when police officers expelled a number of political prisoners from the blocs and transferred them to another place. But so far security officials have not said anything about it, but a large number of prisoners are said to be in jail and were involved in clashes with police at Block III, IV, VI, and Block Zone. This issue was publicized on Sunday in social media.
