Commander of Baghlan police wounded

Around 6:30 pm Wednesday, clashes broke out between Baghlan Provincial Council deputy guards and Amin Akakhil’s police headquarters, killing one person and injuring five others.
A credible source has confirmed that the clash between Baghdad police commander Niaz Mohammed Niaz, deputy provincial council deputy Shams al-Haq Barakzai Amin Akakhil and two other local policemen were injured.
The interior ministry has confirmed the killing of vector Amin Akakhil and the wounding of the deputy provincial council of Baghlan and Amin Akakhil.
A reliable source told the correspondent in the north-east zone that the Baghlan police commander was also wounded in the shoulder blast.
The clash took place inside the Baghlan police headquarters when Amin Akakhil was replaced as the commander of the local police by Ubayd, who faced opposition from the Baghlan Provincial Deputy and clashes between the Baghlan Provincial Council’s deputy bodyguards and Amin Akakhil.
Interior Minister Mohammad Masood Andarabi has sent a delegation to Baghlan to investigate the matter.
