Dawoodzai: The world reached a consensus for the end of the Afghan war

The head of Afghan High Peace Council Secretariat, during a meeting with some civil institutions in Kabul, has announced that a global consensus for ending of the Afghan conflict is taking place worldwide. Mohammad Omar Dawoodzai said: “We are also trying to coordinate the Afghan peace in the countries to provide regional consensus. In addition, we expect the Loya Jirga to bring a clear and consistent view of the Afghan peace process.”
The head of High Peace Council secretariat has also emphasized that the Peace Consultative Loya Jirga will be the only framework to determine the method of dialogue with the Taliban, he believes, the role of youth and civil society in determining this road map is important for the government.
These statements are being made when president Ghani has begun his meetings with political officials and jihadist leaders for the establishment of a unified peace efforts. In the most recent case, Mr. Ghani met with former President Hamid Karzai and Abdul Rab Rassoul Sayyaf several days ago.
