Demand for medical assistance to the people of Badakhshan province from Tajikistan

Afghanistan’s ambassador to Tajikistan (Sayeed Masoom Badakhshi) met with the Minister of Public Health of Tajikistan and demand for medical assistance to the people of Badakhshan province.
While, in the severe snowstorms and recent snow floods in the province, people are in trouble. Tajikistan’s Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) said the Afghan ambassador to Tajikistan shared the medical problems and needs of the Badakhshan people with the country’s public health minister and demand for assistance to the far areas of the province.
The Ministry of Public Health and Social Protection of Tajikistan has been receiving treatment for at least 30 Afghan citizens every year at Tajikistan’s Hospital in Badakhshan, where the money is being paid by the (Agha Khan) Foundation, the statement also said.
