The president of United States, Donald Tramp, was among reporters yesterday claiming to end the ISIS presence in Syria. “When I was preparing for my election campaigns, where was the territory of ISIS,” Tramp said, referring to Syria map. “Now, with our efforts, this group has been destroyed and we can claim that there is no longer an ISIS presence in Syria.”
Before the Trump meeting with the US reporters, the White House announced that the United States ended the ISIS mission in Syria. But the Syrian permanent representative at the United Nations has claimed that the group has not been completely disappeared until now and continues to fight in areas under the rule of ISIS.
