Dr. Abdullah: National days should not be used for election campaigns
Reporter: Imran Khorasani
In a message on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Afghanistan’s independence, the chief executive of the National Unity Government said that any confiscation, group and electoral exploitation of national days, especially the anniversary of the country’s independence, was a blasphemous act.
It is also said that a century ago, the freedom-seeking and militant Afghan people, led by King Amanullah Khan and other freedom-seeking leaders of the country, stood against British aggression and intervention in time to gain independence.
He added that the children of the border are still trapped and sacrificed today in the trenches of the fight against terrorism for the freedom and protection of national honor. The people of Afghanistan have proven that they are going for their lives and property, but they do not accept slavery, oppression, and surrender and do not allow outsiders to assign them. The nationwide and self-sacrificing struggles of our people in the era of jihad, national resistance, and the fight against terror are a clear example of this claim in the last decade of the liberation struggle of our people.
The President emphasized that Afghanistan’s freedom and independence are the product of life, the sacrifice, and sacrifice of our proud ancestors, and we are proud to be around this border. Any confiscation, group and electoral exploitation of national days, especially the anniversary of the country’s independence, is a moot point.
While the Afghan government has been preparing for several months to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Afghanistan’s independence for several months, they were scheduled to perform in an official ceremony at the Darl-a-man Palace, but due to the post-bloody attacks. Postponed.
