Security officials announced the deaths of five members of a family by security forces in Nangarhar province.

“On Friday night security forces fired with Taliban groups in the tent of Shirzad district, shortly after a rally on a speedy roadside rush,” Ataullah Khogiani, spokesman for Nangarhar’s governor, told the media, confirming the incident. It was a passing that was blocked by the security forces. As a result, a vehicle was used by civilians and not a Taliban group”

Mr. Khogiani adds that the loss of these five members of the family was unwanted by the security forces. And the country’s military was thinking that the targeted vehicle belongs to the Taliban group.

Ten members of the Taliban have also been killed during the operation.
