The Ministry of Interior has released a newsletter that terrorist attack on defense ministry directorate of engineering ended after seven hours of intense conflict between Taliban insurgents and Afghan forces. According to Interior Ministry spokesman Nusrat Rahimi was quoted: “All five attackers who attacked the military installations in the second security zone of Kabul were beaten up by the Special Forces of Police and the Special Forces are now undergoing cleaning operations at the site. Until now, the casualties figure for the incident is unclear, but after the completion of the refining operation, details will be shared with the country’s media. ”

However, witnesses of the incident claimed that in today’s terrorist attack on the engineering departments of the Ministry of Defense, residential homes around the incident site have been seriously damaged. It is said that more than 2,500 people were staying in a city surrounding the facility. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack, and the Taliban spokesman claimed that several military troops from the Ministry of Defense’s engineering department were killed and wounded in the attack.
