Germany Extended its military missions in Afghanistan

German ambassador to Afghanistan, Marquez Putzel, today announced that the German parliament has renewed the mission of German forces in Afghanistan. German officials have announced that the mission has been extended for one year. Currently, there are 1,200 German troops stationed in Afghanistan and the responsibility of these forces is to train, assist and advise Afghan security forces. These troops are now stationed in the northern Afghanistan.
The mission of the German forces is being extended while the spring conflict between the security forces and the Taliban is taking place. The Afghan Ministry of Defense has announced that in 1398, they will act aggressively more than any other time in order to suppress terrorists.
